What should a golf awards message tell us?
- The tournament name, the date of play and the date the awards need to be at the club or office.
- The format: individual stroke play with flights, a scramble with foursomes, or a member-guest with paired teams.
- Each prize category and how many places it pays, including gross and net if you award both.
- Side contests by hole, such as closest to the pin on the par threes.
- The collection piece you have in mind, for example the Classic Golf Tournament Trophy, or a sketch of your own.
- Club crest and sponsor logo files, if any should appear on the awards.
