How Fairway Trophy Co ships golf tournament awards
How do golf awards travel, and what should you check first?
Fairway Trophy Co ships golf awards worldwide, with the service and charges for your clubhouse or office set out in the quote. A golf order often holds very different objects in one box: metal cups on bases, acrylic pieces, walnut plaques with metal plates and small bag tags. Cups have rims and handles that can be knocked, acrylic shows scuffs, and loose tags are easy to miscount. Open the box when it reaches you, not on tournament morning. Set the pieces out in prize-sheet order and read each one against the approved proof while there is still room to act.
What should you check when golf awards arrive?
- Count each group against the packing list: team keepsakes in fours, one piece per flight place, one per contest.
- Read the category on every plate, especially gross against net and the hole number on contest prizes.
- Check cup rims, handles and bases, and look across acrylic faces for marks from the journey.
- Count bag tags against the entry list and confirm the attachment pieces are in the bag.
- Photograph anything wrong with the packing still visible, then get in touch with the order reference.
