Golf Tournament Award Planner
Enter the number of flights or divisions, then the pieces each one awards: paid places times pieces per place. Add sponsor or participation pieces and any spares. In a team event, count every player's keepsake inside the per-division figure. The Fairway Trophy Co planner totals the order. Your prize sheet decides who gets recognized.
Build your plan
For pairs or team prizes, include every individual piece in the per-division count. Use the quantity calculator for a separate participation batch.
The decision behind a golf tournament presentation
A team trophy and four player keepsakes serve different purposes. Count pieces by the presentation format, then list skills prizes separately from team placements. Keep the event name and date consistent across formats, and confirm whether sponsor recognition belongs in the same order.
Keep with your brief: Team size, awarded flights, skills prizes and event date.

Count a keepsake for every team member
Four divisions each recognize three two-person teams. Both members receive a piece, so the per-division entry is 3 × 2 = 6. Add two sponsor plaques and no spares.

The example requires 26 pieces: 24 player awards and two sponsor plaques. It does not create a tournament bracket or decide the event’s award rules. Use the organizer-approved results and category names to prepare the inscription roster after the event format is settled.
How many awards does a four-flight member-guest need?
A member-guest runs four flights of two-player teams. Each flight pays first and second place, and both partners take home a Clear Acrylic Golf Ball Award. The chair works the per-flight figure out first: two places times two players is four pieces. He enters four flights and four pieces, which gives sixteen. Then he adds three other pieces, a Golf Tournament Sponsor Plaque for each of the three event sponsors. The planner shows nineteen. An overall Club Championship Trophy for the winning pair to share is one more. He sends Fairway Trophy Co a count of twenty with the breakdown: sixteen keepsakes, three plaques and one shared trophy.
Check these details before using the result
- Typing paid places where pieces belong
- Two places in a two-player team event is four pieces, not two. Multiply before you type the per-division number.
- Treating gross and net as one division
- If each flight pays both gross and net, the paid places double. Write the prize sheet out in full before entering a figure.
- Leaving the scoring volunteers out
- Thank-you pieces for the head professional, the starter or key volunteers go in the other-pieces field so they reach the quote.

Club Championship Trophy
Choose a shared club trophy for the overall winner or matching individual pieces for flight champions. The distinction should be in the inscription as well as the presentation order, especially when gross and net results are recognized separately.

Classic Golf Tournament Trophy
Choose the height around the importance of the category rather than making every award equally large. A larger overall championship cup and smaller flight awards create a clear hierarchy for the ceremony.

Design concept · Clear acrylic
Clear Acrylic Golf Ball Award
Use this piece for an individual achievement or a flight prize with a short inscription. A larger perpetual plaque is a better fit when the purpose is to preserve a club's winner history rather than recognize one golfer.

Longest Drive & Closest-to-Pin Awards
List each contest separately in the order, including hole number and any division. Add a measured result only when the tournament organizer has confirmed the number and unit for the final inscription.

Golf Tournament Sponsor Plaque
Make the sponsor's contribution the subject of the wording. If sponsorship levels differ, decide whether that level belongs on the plaque or only in event materials before producing a coordinated set.

Does the planner flight the field or set tee times?
No. It counts awards and nothing else. Flighting by handicap, pairings and tee times stay with the committee or the club's tournament software. Open the planner once the number of flights and the paid places are final, so the count matches the prize sheet players will see.
What if one flight is smaller and pays fewer places?
Handle it separately. Run the planner for the flights that share the same payout, then add the smaller flight's pieces by hand. Write the rule down, for example one place in the senior flight, and send it with the total so the plates are worded to match.
Which buying guide should you read next?
All buying guidesTurn approved golf sponsorship commitments into a plaque schedule that identifies recipients, exact names, artwork, copies and presentation arrangements.
Translate the tournament's prize plan into one row for every award category, then count the people receiving pieces. Separate player prizes from sponsor and volunteer recognition. Decide which information can be personalized before play and how the organizer wants to handle winner names that are only known afterward.
Choose golf bag tags around the actual attachment point, public identification and handling conditions, then compare complete aluminum or acrylic proposals rather than an isolated material name.
A required and optional fields table for hole-in-one plaques, a checklist of details to collect on the day, sample layouts and an original wording bank with exact character counts and a fit check, replacing scattered forum advice.
